The following Curriculum (listed in brief) was designed in 2013 for Summer Heroes. Listed are the facilitators nominated for the specific expertise and skill sets in 2013 and who accepted their nominations and participated with us. In most instances they tailored their usual talks or activities to suit the superhero theme and to highlight the overall mission of Summer Heroes- creativity, character development, leadership, social awareness and responsibility, self-esteem. We are truly grateful for those who gave us special rates and those who volunteered.

 

FINDING OUR POWERS

– Identifying personal strengths / talents, social responsibility
– Identifying their secret superhero identity and name, their range of powers and good deeds
– Introduction to the concept of superheroes and old mas
